Born 10th of August, 1996, I grew up in Warton, Lancashire. My love of photography began in secondary school, and I originally dreamt of being the 21st century Ansel Adams (I was a strange kid, give me a break). I then attended college at Blackpool Sixth form where my passions started to take off.
From this, I gained a place at Salford University studying a degree in photography, which gave me the platform to use professional standard equipment. I made some connections at Trafford F.C and it all started to click.
My sports photographic odyssey has so far taken me from the depths of grassroots football in the suburbs of Manchester to the highs and exultations of the Premier League and Wembley.
Mark Fletcher (MI News and Sport) gave me the fantastic opportunity to cover Rochdale in the EFL cup. This was after I sent countless emails to photo agencies across the country and I was lucky enough to get a response from him. I went on to cover the EFL and Premier League games within three months.
Since then, I've managed to work my way up, and am now covering games for PA Images.
